Antonio "Tony" Garcia | Musician

Antonio "Tony" Garcia is a very influential educator, drummer, and percussionist in Lubbock, Texas. At a very early age, Tony found a passion for watching, listening, and eventually playing the drums. In 2003, Tony moved to Lubbock, Texas to attend Texas Tech University where he studied music education/ performance under Professor Alan Shinn and Dr. Lisa Rogers. In March of 2015, Tony joined the Lubbock Texas Rhythm Machine as the house drummer for the Cactus Theater. He has brought great energy to the group and does an amazing job!  Today, Tony can be found working with the Coronado and Estacado marching bands, Irons and O.L. Slaton Middle School percussion sections, as well as teaching Drum Set at Lubbock's new School of Rock. You can also catch him playing drums/ percussion for groups such as The Walking Shred, Kent Mings Band, Sibling Rivalry, The Microbullets, Alma Quartet, Ginger and the Alchemists, and many, many more.
